The man who brought Internet to India, thrashes Modi's claim to have used email in 1988

Last week Prime Minister Modi claimed to send an email in the year 1988. B.K.Syngal, the person who gets the credit to introduce internet to this country has thrashed this claim of the PM and said there is no way Modi could have used email services in 1988. He said before 1995; there were only ERNET to be used in selected educational institutions. In 1995, VSNL set up the 1st internet in the country.
