To avoid propaganda, Bangladesh ahead of elections slows internet

Bangladesh government has strictly restrained access to the internet for the citizens. They have been doing this in order to prevent 'propaganda' ahead of the general elections on Sunday. The 3G and 4G services were stopped for many hours across the nation on Thursday night and other internet services were slowed down. The officials have said that this is done to avoid the spread of misleading content on the internet.
