Top Indian Army commander confirmed the 1st surgical strike that happened in 2016

A few days ago, Congress party claimed to have conducted 6 surgical strikes during its reign. However, Lt. General Ranbir Singh, Commanding-in Chief of Indian Army has said that the first surgical strike was conducted in 2016, 10 days after the Uri attack. Singh said that he doesn't want to get into the political war and that he is stating only the facts. He also praised the controversial airstrikes in Balakot.
