Trump authorised Soleimani's killing as he was 'saying bad things' about US

Trump has given a min-to-min account of the US drone strikes that killed Iranian military commander Qassem Soleimani in remarks to a Republican fund-raising dinner on Friday night. He had monitored the strikes from the White House Situation room when Soleimani was killed. CNN had obtained an audio recording of Trump's remarks. However, the White House didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.
