Union Minister Athawale who said 'Not affected by fuel price' now expresses regret

BJP ally and Union Minister of State for Social Justice Ramdas Athawale, whose apathetic statement 'rising fuel prices do not affect him as he is a minister'- stirred up a controversy, has now changed his tune and said that he does understand the effect of rising fuel prices and 'had no intention of hurting the sentiments of the common man'. He also said that the Centre is working to cut taxes on fuel prices.
