UP government declares 14 anti-CAA, NRC protestors as absconders, announces cash reward

The Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh government has declared 14 people involved in the anti-citizenship act and National register of Citizens protesters as absconders. The state government has also announced cash rewards for the arrest of the absconders. Eight protestors were booked under the Gangster Act and notices were pasted outside their houses. The protestors including Maulana Saif Abbas have been charged with arson.
