Amid the increasing tensions between Beijing and Washington, US has called Tibet a militarily occupied territory of China. The statement came a day after the US House of Representatives passed a bill regarding the autonomy of Tibetans. “The CCP devotes considerable resources to the repression of ethnic and religious minorities. The CCP maintains a military occupation of Tibet that dates to the 1950s," a report read.
