The US welcomed the opening of the Kartarpur corridor and said this initiative is a positive example of neighbours working together for mutual benefit. Pak PM Imran Khan also inaugurated the famous corridor to facilitate visa-free entry of Indian Sikh pilgrims to one of Sikhism's purest and holiest shrines in Narowal. This corridor links Gurdwara Darbar Sahib in Pakistan, final resting place of Guru Nanak Dev to Dera Baba Nanak.
