US Navy commanders engage in "cognitive warfare" with Chinese Navy in South China Sea

Amid China's increasing activities in the disputed South China Sea, the US Navy has sent a clear message to the Chinese Navy that the region is free for all. A photo that was released by the US on Sunday shows the guided-missile destroyer, USS Mustin shadowing the Liaoning group. In the photo, ship captain Commander Robert J Briggs and his deputy Commander Richard D Slye could be seen watching the Liaoning.
