China has reacted sharply to the sanctions imposed by United States on Chinese and HongKong officials after China passed the controversial law in Hong Kong. “The unscrupulous intentions of the U.S. politicians to support the anti-China chaos in Hong Kong have been revealed, and their clowning actions are really ridiculous,” the Liaison Office said. Beijing added that intimidation cannot frighten the Chinese people.
