US stopped funding for Anti-Iran Twitter project

The US state department has announced that they have stopped the support for an online project that was aimed at fighting Iranian disinformation. The funding was suspended last month pending a review regarding some of its questionable tweets that criticized the country's human right workers and journalists. Officials have said that the intent was to unveil Iranian disinformation and not to have tweeted about U.S citizens.
