A village panchayat candidate in Uttar Pradesh's Amroha was arrested for distributing rasgullas to the voters. The police seized 'rasgulla' packets weighing around 100 kg from the candidate named Sohanveer, who hails from Porara village. Sohanveer and his relative Chandra Sen, have been booked for violating the model code of conduct. The polls will be held in Amroha in the second phase on April 19.
