Uttarakhand CM summoned to Delhi by central leadership ahead of assembly polls

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat has been summoned to Delhi by the BJP central leadership ahead of the assembly polls in the state. Rawat will arrive in Delhi on Wednesday. He was appointed the new chief minister of the party as a replacement for Trivendra Singh Rawat. The state will go to assembly polls next year. Rawat will contest the by-election to become a member of the state assembly.
