Reports have emerged that Polish businessman Mark Falenta, who was convicted for organising the wiretapping scandal involving politicians that harmed the Civic Platform party during elections in Poland in 2014, owed $20m in debt to a Russian coal company. This has led to speculations about Russian involvement in Polish Politics in 2014. Russia has been previously accused of interfering in many countries' elections.
