We recognise cultural and religious significance of genuinely autonomous Tibet: US House passes bipartisan resolution

In a major setback for China, the US House of Representatives has passed a bipartisan resolution saying that it "recognizes the cultural and religious significance of a genuinely autonomous Tibet and the deep bond between the American and Tibetan people." The resolution also commended "the 14th Dalai Lama for his commitment to global peace and nonviolence." Congressman Ted Yoho said US needs to secure the freedom of Tibetan people.
