West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar today summoned the state's Chief Secretary to “comprehensively” apprise him of the law and order situation over the post-poll violence. Governor Jagdeep Dhankar said Additional Chief Secretary (Home) HS Dwivedi "failed to impart status report on law and order regarding post-poll violence." The governor has told the Chief Secretary to meet him before 7 pm today.
