PM Modi's new team has 16 first-time MPs from both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. And one among them is Nisith Pramanik. Nisith Pramanik is a Lok Sabha MP for Cooch Behar in West Bengal. He is serving his 1st term as MP. After taking the oath today, he has become the first-ever Central Minister from his hometown Cooch Behar. He was a member of All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) before joining the BJP in March 2019.
