The Narendra Modi-led BJP government is facing severe criticism over the revamp of the Jallianwala Bagh memorial. The revamp has been labelled as "erasing of history" by many. Tagging a report criticising the revamp of the Jallianwala Bagh memorial, Rahul Gandhi wrote on Twitter, "Such an insult to the martyrs of Jallianwala Bagh can only be done by those who do not know the meaning of martyrdom."
