Will Finance Ministry alumnus Das pacify govt as the new RBI governor?

The recent disagreements between RBI and Finance Ministry (FM), followed by the resignation of Urjit Patel, have culminated in the appointment of Shaktikanta Das as the 25th RBI governor for the next three years. Das, known as a calm team player and efficient implementer, who is at ease with three finance ministers, having worked alongside them at several positions, will be able to help RBI and government arrive at a consensus.
