100 mn users tuned into Hotstar on India-Pak match day

The day India-Pakistan clashed at the ongoing World Cup on June 16 streaming giant Hotstar saw a record 100 million active users, its largest ever single day reach. Almost 66% of Hotstar’s reach was from towns beyond the big metro cities. It also saw a record-breaking concurrency of 15.6 million, the highest ever for an ODI match. It was a 1.7x increase in average concurrency compared to any other India match.
