ACB appoint Rashid Khan as Afghanistan’s T20I captain, Najibullah Zadran his deputy

With the T20 World Cup in the UAE and Oman only four months away, the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) has finalised their new captain in the shortest format. Rashid Khan, the leg-spinner, will lead the team in the T20 World Cup as well. Najibullah Zadran has been named the vice-captain of the team in the T20 Internationals. The senior ACB leadership led by the board chairman Farhan Yousefzai selected Rashid for the role.
