Afghanistan cricket team likely to visit India early 2022 for a Test match

Amid the ongoing chaos in Afghanistan after the Taliban takeover, India is likely to play a Test match with Afghanistan in early 2022. “A spokesperson of the Taliban Cultural Commission communicated to us that the Taliban will be supporting the Test match against Australia followed by a Test series against India in the first quarter of 2022,” said Hamid Shinwari, the chief executive officer of the Afghanistan Cricket Board.
