Fans from various parts of the country and foreign countries had promptly started planning their trip to Ahmedabad soon after the announcement of the ODI World Cup 2023 schedule, months before India secured a place in the finals. However, it evolved into a formidable challenge as hotel prices surged from Rs 24,000 per night to an exorbitant Rs 2,15,000 per night.
