Many reports had emerged of a rift between Team India captain Kohli and Rohit, but the CoA chief Vinod Rain shut down the topic and stated that it was nothing but a media hype. The chief said that no matter will be taken up unless the players raise the issue themselves. However, a senior BCCI functionary stated that a CoA member asked a player to post a message, 'all is well' on the group, but no message was dropped.
