India beat South Africa in the first T20I held in Thiruvananthapuram. The Proteas were stunned as India bowled them out for a paltry 80. SA lost five wickets within the first three overs itself. Arshdeep Singh and Deepak Chahar made the new ball count. In response, India chased down the target in style to take a 1-0 lead in the three-match series.
