Ashes: England replace Roy & Overton with Woakes & Curran for fifth Test

Jason Roy and Craig Overton were dropped from the England squad for the fifth Ashes Test as Sam Curran and Chris Woakes were included. Ben Stokes, unfit to bowl due to a shoulder injury, will play as a specialist batsman. Roy was scrapped after scoring only 110 runs in 8 Ashes innings, with a highest score of 31. Seamer Overton was recalled for the Old Trafford Test but his match figures of 2-107 were not impressive.
