ATK and Mohun Bagan merge to form a new club

From June 1, Mohun Bagan and ATK, founded in 2014, will form a new football club that will participate in the 2020-21 ISL season and other competitions listed in the All India Football Federation calendar. The new club has been named ATK-Mohun Bagan, revealed Sanjiv Goenka chairman of the RP-Sanjiv Goenka (RPSG) Group which will own 80% of the new club. Twice ISL champions ATK are owned and run by RPSG.
