Babar Azam to be Pakistan’s new ODI captain

Babar Azam will be Pakistan’s new ODI captain after having already replaced wicketkeeper-batsman Sarfaraz Ahmed as the T20 format’s skipper. PCB scrapped Sarfaraz in October from the Test and T20 squads in a shocking decision despite leading Pakistan to 6 consecutive wins last year and named Azhar Ali as the Test captain and Babar as the T20 skipper. Pakistan’s next ODI assignment is against Bangladesh on April 3.
