Bajrang Punia defeats Iran's Morteza Ghiasi to reach 65 kg wrestling semi finals

Indian wrestler Bajrang Punia defeated Iran's Morteza Ghiasi to reach the 65 kg men's freestyle semi finals at the Tokyo Olympics. Punia was trailing 0-1 throughout the match but he managed to pin Ghiasi in the second period to emerge victorious. He will now face Rio 2016 bronze medallist Haji Aliyev of Azerbaijan. The 2018 Asian Games gold medallist is one of India's biggest hopes to win a medal at the Tokyo Olympics.
