BARC Report: 93% of sport viewers tune into Cricket, the most-watched game in India

Despite other sports making their presence felt on TV, India has a broad fan base in cricket & continues to be everyone's favorite, including women as they constitute 48% of viewers. A BARC India report reveals that 93% of all sports viewers in 2018 tuned into cricket. Growth in cricket viewership is increasingly coming from regional language broadcasts. Youth continues to dominate with 35% of live cricket viewership.
