BCCI appoints former Gujarat DGP as new Anti-Corruption Unit Chief

Ahead of the 14th edition of IPL, former Gujarat DGP Shabir Hussein Shekhadam Khandawala has been appointed as the head of the BCCI’s Anti-Corruption Unit. He will replace Ajit Singh, who served in the same capacity from April 2018 to March 2021. However, Singh has reportedly said that he will still be with the BCCI for a while to allow Khandawala to seamlessly fit into his new role.
