BCCI put ten-team tournament plans on hold after IPL 2021 suspension

BCCI has currently put the proposed 10-team IPL plans on hold as of now. The Board was all set to launch two new teams in the year 2022 with a mega auction scheduled for the 15th season. However, the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic has put those plans on hold as BCCI is currently keen on finishing the 2021 tournament, which was postponed indefinitely on May 04, 2021.
