BCCI to bid for 2025 Champions Trophy, 2028 T20 and 2031 ODI WC in the next cycle of events

BCCI will be bidding to host three upcoming ICC events in the next cycle starting from 2024 for eight years. The decision was taken at the board’s emergent Apex Council Meeting which held virtually recently. Recently, ICC reinstated the Champions Trophy which last took place in 2017 when Pakistan defeated India in the final. BCCI are planning to now bid for hosting of the 2025 Champions Trophy, 2028 T20 World Cup and 2031 ODI World Cup.
