Brazil beat Peru to lift Copa America title

Gabriel Jesus scored one goal and assisted another before being sent off as Brazil beat Peru 3-1 to lift a first Copa America title in 12 years. It brought a huge relief for Jesus who was in tears after giving marching orders and even pushed over the VAR monitor as he left the field. It is ninth time Brazil have won the Copa America, and it’s their first tournament silverware since winning a gold at 2016 Olympics.
