Bulgaria police detain six over racist abuse at England match

6 Bulgarians have been arrested for racist abuse during the Euro 2020 qualifier against England which led to a storm of protest and Bulgaria’s football chief had to resign after that. Monkey chants and apparent Nazi salutes marred a dramatic 6-0 England win as the match was halted twice during the first half because of the abuse. UEFA will also launch a probe into the behaviour of both Bulgaria and England fans.
