As the country mourned the loss of its great son and legendary sprinter Milkha Singh, fans across the country took to Twitter with the demand of Bharat Ratna for him. When asked about the demand, Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju said, " "Milkha Singh is an icon for every generation. The courage he showed in life is a lesson for everyone. He’s above all these awards. We can’t compare him to any awards."
