Real Madrid’s winning streak finally came to an end after conceding a late goal and settling for a 2-2 draw at home to Celta Vigo. Their lead over second-placed Barcelona is down to one point now. Barca had beaten third-placed Getafe on Saturday. Sevilla could have jumped to third but were held, 2-2, at home by Espanyol. Before this match, Real had won five straight La Liga matches to accelerate past Barcelona.
