Chinese football will cut player salaries as teams across world football try to ease the financial blow due to the coronavirus impact. Players in the Chinese Super League were under immense pressure to follow the footsteps of their counterparts. The cuts will be backdated to March 1 and will continue until the new season starts. The CSL campaign was scheduled to start on February 22 but was indefinitely postponed.
