Cricket legend Shane Warne banned from driving for 12 months

Cricket legend Shane Warne has been banned from driving for 12 months after he admits speeding at Wimbledon Magistrates court. The 50-year-old pleaded guilty to driving at 47 mph in a 40 mph zone in a hired Jaguar car in Kensington last Aug. He already had 15 penalty points on his licence for 5 speeding offences. He has been ordered to pay a sum of £1,845-£775 in costs, fined £900, & must pay a surcharge of £170 to the court.
