In what can be called a major development, Deepak Chahar is set to miss the majority of the IPL 2022 amid fitness issues. The bowling all-rounder, who had been doing well in white-ball cricket lately, was re-signed by Chennai Super Kings for a whooping INR 14 crore during last month’s mega auction. Chahar also seemed determined to repay the faith of the officials and support staff.
