Dale Steyn will play for Melbourne Stars in this year's Big Bash League. Steyn will be available for 6 matches in his debut season in the Australian T20 league. He joins fellow South Africans AB de Villiers and Chris Morris in the BBL, with AB and Morris joining Brisbane Heat and Sidney Thunder respectively. If Steyn is not selected for South Africa's series against England in February, he may extend the period.
