Daniel Vettori steps down as Brisbane Heat coach

Daniel Vettori will not renew his contract as Brisbane Heat's coach after 4 years in charge. The Big Bash League team’s best result under Vettori remains a semi-final finish in 2016-17. Vettori's exit from Brisbane Heat comes after his latest decision to stand down as Royal Challengers Bangalore's coach in the IPL and as Middlesex's coach in the T20 Blast. Brendon McCullum has also bid goodbye to BBL recently.
