Defender David Luiz has signed a 2-year contract extension with Chelsea. His earlier deal was due to end at the end of the season, but the Brazilian will now stay at Stamford Bridge until June 2021. Centre-back Luiz has been a key weapon in Maurizio Sarri’s side this season, making 48 appearances across all competitions and netting three goals, helping Chelsea secure a top-four finish in the Premier League.
