Dipa Karmakar in final round of Artistic Gymnastics WC

India’s Dipa Karmakar has reached the vault finals after a third position finish in the qualifying round of the Artistic Gymnastics World Cup in Baku. The 25-year-old gymnast who had the fourth position in the event at 2016 Rio Olympics delivered a higher difficulty Hand front 540 vault for the first time in the world event. She managed 14.466 and 14.133 points in the 2 qualifying round vaults with an average of 14.299.
