Equal prize money for men, women in England’s Hundred

English cricket’s new Hundred tournament will introduce equal prize money for men’s and women’s segment, tournament organizers ECB has revealed. The total prize money of £600,000 will be divided fifty-fifty between women’s and men’s competitions as part of the “commitment to make cricket a gender-balanced sport. Hundred is a new tournament featuring 8 city-based franchises where teams will bat for 100 balls each.
