Faf du Plessis blames IPL for Rabada’s poor show

Rabada, who was tipped to lead the South Africa bowling attack in the absence of Steyn, had a poor outing. With 6 wickets in 6 matches at an average of 50.83, he had a forgettable World Cup experience. Now, captain Faf du Plessis has said IPL is responsible for the mediocre performance of Rabada. He even claimed South Africa team management had tried to stop Rabada from playing this year’s IPL ahead of the World Cup.
