Federer launches Australian Open campaign with sublime win

Roger Federer displayed no signs of rust despite lack of match practice as he kick-started his Australian Open campaign for a record 21st Grand Slam in style. The Swiss maestro hammered American Steve Johnson 6-3 6-2 6-2 in the first round on Monday. It was his first competitive match since the defeat to Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas in ATP Finals back in November. Federer is the 6-time champion at Melbourne Park.
