FIH Series Finals: Japan to face India in Semis

Asian Games champions Japan came from behind to beat Poland 6-2 in a cross-over stage encounter to set up a mouth-watering semifinal date with hosts India in the FIH Men’s Series Finals hockey event. Japan has already sealed their berth in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics as hosts, and are playing in the tournament to gain more ranking points. India last faced Japan in Azlan Shah Cup in Malaysia in March, winning 2-0.
