‘Football Leaks’ founder Rui Pinto placed on house arrest

Portuguese hacker Rui Pinto, founder of Football Leaks, who faces trial for blackmail is under house arrest and banned from using internet after leaving precautionary detention. Pinto was extradited from Hungary in March last year for trying to blackmail an investment fund, asking for one million euros in return for not leaking documents he hacked from computer systems of the firm Doyen Sports and of Sporting Lisbon.
