For 1st time Indian athlete nominated for Laureus World Sports Awards

For the first time, an Indian athlete is nominated for the prestigious Laureus Sports Awards. Vinesh Phogat, Asian Games gold medallist has been nominated for one of the seven main categories of the award. It is her hard work and victories that she is being considered for the Laureus World Comeback of the Year besides the US Tour Championship winner Tiger Woods. Others nominated are Yuzuru Hanyu and Mark McMorris.
